File Submission Guidelines

Illustrator:

Step one: Create the file size at 100% (CMYK) scale if possible. If not please indicate the scale for proper scaling when we receive the file. Unless you need bleed on your file do NOT include bleed.

Step two: Once you are ready to save your file please follow these steps before saving.

• Select all of your text and create outlines.  (Type/create outlines)
• Make sure all of your BLACK is NOT 100% black. It should be (C:25, M:25, Y:25, K:100) this will ensure the black will print a rich black
• Make sure all of your images are embedded. If you have linked images either embed the images or send them with the file
• Please save the file as an EPS or PDF

Photoshop:

Step one: Create the file size at 100% 75dpi (CMYK).  We know 75dpi sounds low but our RIP software rips the file to an apparent 1440dpi so even at 75dpi it will print crisp. However, if you have a low resolution image and you make it 50 feet tall, the resolution will be very low. Please call if you have questions (951) 684-3111.

Step two: Once you are ready to save your file please follow these steps before saving.

• Select all of your text and convert text to an image to ensure the text will not be replaced by another font
• Make sure all of your BLACK is NOT 100% black. It should be (C:25, M:25, Y:25, K:100) this will ensure the black will print a rich black
• If you are bringing another image into your work area, make sure that image is at the same scaling as your artwork. For example, if the original file is at 75 dpi at full scale and you not bring in an image that is twice as large at 300 dpi as this will make your file size very large.
• DO NOT include bleed on your files. Save the file as a JPEG or TIFF. Please try to avoid seding PSD files as these files tend to be VERY LARGE if not saved correctly
