  • Coroplast Yard Signs

Coroplast yard signs may not be as big as banners, but they can definitely make quite the impact.

What can yard signs be used for?  Yard signs are a great way to advertise! They work great for real estate, garage sales, and all other types of events. You can even display a yard sign with your political beliefs. A new business can use our signs to announce a grand opening, or as guides to direct new customers. Many of our clients also order signs for directional and informational usage. However, they can also be used for announcements, celebrations, or for big events. The possibilities are endless!

These coroplast yard signs can be placed indoor or outdoors. However, windy weather may limit a sign's outdoor usage. When placed indoors, our signs are guaranteed to last for years.

What are our yard signs made of? Our yard signs are made of corrugated plastic. Corrugated plastic is, essentially, a large plastic sheet. This material is durable, waterproof, and will last in all types of weather. The brand of corrugated plastic we use is known as Coroplast, hence why they're also known as coroplast yard signs. Coroplast is a great alternative for normal posters, paper, and card stock. They can be printed one-sided or two-sided, depending on your preferences.

  • Coroplast Vs. PVC, which is better?

pvc_vs_coroBeing successful as a business is all about standing out from all the other similar brands out there. Even though technology has grown and many businesses profit through internet sales, bricks and motar businesses are still extremely successful. Therefore, brands should strive to make themselves noticeable, even if it comes down to the nitty gritty.

A simple and great way to make your brand noticeable is through signage. To attract new customers, outdoor and indoor signs will definitely increase brand exposure. According to Brandongaille.com , it states "35% of people wouldn’t even know your business was at its location unless you have a sign displayed," which shows how much signs can be to your advantage.

To produce a sign that is eye-catching and unique in content, you got to think about a few things: the graphics (content), the material, and the placement of the sign. Do you know the difference between sign substrates? For event centered signage, the two that come to mind are Coroplast or Sintra (expanded pvc). But which is right for your needs and budget?coroplast_compared_to_pvc

Sintra (or expanded pvc) is light, very smooth, and prints with a detailed matte finish that is ideal when you want to take your event level up a notch. This material is flexible and works well indoors in frames or outdoors in a-frame stands.

Coroplast is light, strong, weather resistant, and very economical. It is often referred to as "plastic cardboard" because of it's fluted design much like cardboard. It's great for outdoor use and the flutes can be used in conjunction with inexpensive wire stakes we offer on our webpage than can be stuck in the ground. Ideal for extended temporary uses.

The material depends completely on preference and purpose. In the photo above, you can see the difference between coroplast and PVC.  Be sure to remember, whatever material you choose, light absorption could damage your sign. Hope this was helpful!

  • Yard Signs - Small and Steady

Our Yard Signs are made from sturdy plastic known as coroplast. It can last for as long as your campaign or event demands, given that you don’t abuse it with unruly weather. Whatever the occasion, don’t hesitate to utilize Yard Signs as your advertising mode of choice.

    Take Me to the Party

If you’re throwing a big event, yard signs are pretty handy for finding the event itself! Planning a garage sale? Selling real estate? Use yard signs to point the way to your sale or enlistment. Condense your information into the nitty-gritty facts: your name/company name, social media links, or contact information.

    Yard Signs: Not Too Obnoxious

Face it: nowadays, it’s pretty easy to be turned off from something based on the chosen mode of advertising. There’s television jingles that you can’t stand, giant billboards that mock you while you’re sitting in traffic. But with yard signs, it’s a more practical and less “in-your-face” mode of advertisement.

You never see them more so than during voting season. They pop up everywhere in your neighborhood, like daffodils! “Vote for this!”, “Vote against that!”. Set yourself apart from your neighbors and declare your political views with a small yard sign. Just don’t bring it up at dinner with the family, right?

If you’re leasing a room, or changing management, a yard sign is for you. Since there are many sizes of yard signs available, you don’t need to worry about whether or not you’ll garner attention. Interested customers will find you!

    Cutting the Costs

Big hulking banners are expensive, especially when you don’t plan on keeping them for long or only use them once. With yard signs, you’re saving money while still maintaining that long time span for your sign, given love and care. Sure, it’s a smaller space, but the message can be just as clear as any other banner.

  • Running for Office: Campaign Yard Sign Ideas

It's getting awfully close to campaign time. November. Just. Around. The. Corner. Are you panicking yet? You should be, because you know what that means? The campaign signs are coming!

However, if you're running for a position yourself this fall, whether it's your college senate or your city council, it's time for some pretty nifty campaign signs that will get you noticed.

We offer many kinds of banners for your traveling campaign needs, but you'll also want something small and versatile, that can be "planted" anywhere.

See what I did there? ;)

    I'm talking about yard signs.

Rockin' the Red, White, and Blue Yard Signs

There's an obvious trend in signs, where the higher the position you're running for, the more patriotic you're advertising will be. Nary has there been a senator or city council sign without an homage to the stars and stripes. Some other symbols are the Constitution, the Statue of Liberty and the flag itself.

There' no official reason why this, but it goes to show how politics and patriotism go hand in hand. Let's look at some other ideas, for those who might need a break from the proud colors for a while.

This takes the "vote" and turns into a clever image, making the "v" into a check mark, like on a voting ballot.

It's always a good idea to include your face on your sign. Voters want to see what you look like; not some drone that they've never heard of or seen.  In addition to that, your personality will shine a lot better through your facial expression, so be yourself.
