  • Coachella is Just Around the Corner!

cover_coachella-1050x326We're just as excited for Coachella as you all are! For those of you who don't know about Coachella, it is an annual music festival that is held in Indio, California on April 15- 24, 2016. A large variety of different musical artists gather together to perform and share an amazing festival experience for two weekends. Many people have the joy to just attending these events, but they are not aware of all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes. Our warehouse has been working particularly hard to get these Coachella event signs done because we know how crucial festival signs are at large events that gather huge crowds. coachella event signs

We mainly printed signage to help eliminate the chaos, and keep the venue nice and organized. We created coroplast parking lot signs to designate specific vehicles to certain lots, which is a smart thing to do when wanting to avoid unnecessary traffic. Since Coachella is a large event hosting a significant amount of attendees, signs are a must! We cannot emphasize any more how helpful signs are. Looking at it through an attendee's perspective, they would want the most efficient and best festival experience because getting lost in a huge crowd is never a way to go! Coachella is doing it right, for those who need some inspiration for their upcoming event.

  • Event Banners Tips

    event planning banners1

Got an event or party to plan for, but don't know where to start? Banners are a good place to begin. People may underestimate the importance of event banners; however, they will come in your favor during the process of planning your event, we promise! You can knock out so many questions just by using a simple vinyl banner, like the one pictured above. Putting a banner up a few weeks before an event can answer questions like "Where or when is the event?" or "What type of event is it?" without even having to interact with the attendees. Talk about taking off some weight off your shoulders!

Important Things to Include in a Banner:

    1. Name of the Event

First and foremost, if you're going to include one thing on a banner it should be the name of the event. The name of the event is important in so many obvious ways. It will not only help the viewers to search the event online if they are interested, but it will also allow them to get a feel of what the event is all about. Like the banner pictured above, "Fiesta" says it all! Any viewer will know it's going to be a fun time.

    2. Date and Time of the Event

Ok, this one's a given. People need to check their availability before they even commit. Adding the dates and times of the event will definitely make it easier on people and we all know when something is simple and easy, it lures us more. This banner could have included a more specific date to avoid any confusion, but it still works!

    3. Location

Leaving a small space for the location of your event is helpful as well. It helps people get an idea of where the event is and if they are close enough to attend.

    4. Intriguing Graphic

An intriguing graphic always catches the eye.  Bright colors, cool graphics, and some fancy fonts will top it off. The OLPH Annual Fiesta banner has all of the above. Remember, banners are to grab the attention of people, so they could attend the specific event. If your banner is lacking some color, it won't be noticed, which loses its purpose.

    event planning banners

It's important to include the small details on informative banners to not only take some weight off your shoulders as an event planner, but also to avoid confused people. We love helping these events come together to make your event planning process easier. The pictured banner is an example of a basic event vinyl banner for OLPH Annual Fiesta with grommets.

Big events like these are nothing without some signage! Trust us, signs are a great investment if you don't want a group of lost people, on a hectic day. That's why we love working with our clients to bring together amazing events, like A Run Through Redlands. Banner4sale had the opportunity to create custom coroplast signage and directional signs that displayed the distance of each course. These signs are going to be put up all around the city.  We made sure each sign was in bright colors and stood out, making it convenient for the runners. These signs are definitely going to come in handy for the run! Good luck to all the runners!
