  • Large Advertisement Signs for KTM

ktm signageSignage is a great form of advertisement for many reasons. It's inexpensive, targeted, repetitive, reusable, and effective, so you'll definitely be getting your money's worth when purchasing one. Many businesses use signage as advertisements because it's an easy way to reach just walking traffic and the individuals who are already interested. KTM ordered large foam core signs from us displaying their 15% off boots and helmets sale, including a few images. Using bright colors like orange, is a great way to catch the eyes of individuals.

Inexpensive Advertising, especially through media, can get pricey the more complex it gets. To reserve a spot for a 30 second commercial for the Super Bowl can add up to be millions of dollars, which isn't a tangible medium for most small businesses. Banners and coroplast/foamcore signs are a great alternative because it only takes a couple dollars to make a sign that can reach a lot of people just by putting it outside your business. Furthermore,  you're working with a plain canvas that can display and print anything. The ideas are endless!

    Targeted

These signs are not wasteful because putting them outside your business already targets the individuals you want to target. These signs will already be in the reach of potential customers, which is a great marketing tactic because it doesn't require extra effort to physically reach out to individuals who might be interested in the specific product or service.

    Repetitive

Unlike commercials or quick ads that go away after a few seconds, banners and signage leaves a mark in the customer's brain, which influences them in the future to remember the certain product or service. Repetition is important when it winds down to getting the the ad imbedded into the consumer's brains.

    Reusable

Banners and cororplast/ foamcore is a reusable and durable material. It is perfect for reusing signs, because they will last a long time, and it'll save a lot of money on the business end. They're also super light weight, which is really efficient for traveling purposes, so if you're a business that holds a lot of similar events signage will definitely be on your side!

    Effective

Signs and banners are an effective means of advertisement. People pay attention to signs especially when they're are familiar with the brand or logo printed on the sign. In comparison to the cost of produce the advertisement, to the amount of people it can reach, it's definitely worth your buck! Effective and affordable marketing tactics are the way to go. There's not a need for overpriced advertisements, when you'll your money's worth with signage.  Cheap banners but not cheap quality. ktm signage

  • 13oz Banners Vs. 15oz Super Smooth Banners

With so many different types of banner materials on the market these days, sifting through the thousands of banner printing web sites can be a daunting task. I’m here to give you some clarity on what banner material you should order. It all starts with what type of event or product you're trying to market with your banner and whether it will be used indoors or outdoors.

Lets start with 13 oz. 13 ounce banner material is the most common banner material in the world and the most versatile. This material is what you see when you see a banner hanging on the side of a building or used for a light pole banner. Even though this material isn't designed to print double sided we still make double sided banners with 13oz. This works by printing the client's artwork head to head and folding the material like a big taco, and if needed, extra material can be sewn in the middle to help keep light from passing through.

We also leave extra material on the top and bottom for pole pockets, how banners slide onto the poles, and one grommet on the inside is used to zip tie the banner to the pole to keep the banner from sliding off on windy days. You can see the fibers up close in the 13 oz banner, and these are what make it more durable than 15 oz.

    13 oz. up close

Another use for 13 oz. banner material is building banners, which are really common in the commercial real estate market for marketing large industrial buildings for sale on the side of freeways. This is a low cost high impact way to let potential buyers know these buildings are for sale since these large banners are visible from a long ways away.

Trade Show banners can also be produced out of 13 oz. banner material. We use really neat banner framing systems and attach these to trade show booths to make really large seamless images that can be changed out with ease. This is a great way to go instead of wrapping your booth with adhesive back vinyl and incurring all the extra cost of having to pay a professional graphic installer. You would also have to remove them from your booth for the next trade show, which can be tough depending on the type of material that was used, and would most likely leave adhesives behind on the surface of your booth that would need to be cleaned.

    13 oz. banner

Now lets get into 15 oz. super smooth banner material. Super Smooth is really for indoor use only. 15 oz. super smooth has a very smooth surface and makes a really nice image when printed since it doesn't have all the fibers for strength like 13 oz. has. Just because we are calling this 15 oz. and it sounds bigger and badder don’t be fooled, 13 oz. is actually much stronger than this texture. If the surface fibers are what make it stronger, the fibers holding it together, 15 oz. super smooth doesn't have these and that's what makes the surface so smooth and nice for printing.

This material does have some very cool qualities besides being smooth and printing nice, it has a nice little thing called block out. Whats block out? This is a black material that is laminated in the middle of the banner material that does not allow light to pass through. So when you're at a trade show and you're using 15 oz. super smooth at a banner stand, the light passing through doesn't allow you to see the artwork printed on the other side. It is also used for hanging banners in windows at retail stores for the same reason, so your artwork is impactful inside and out.

  • Event Banners Tips

    event planning banners1

Got an event or party to plan for, but don't know where to start? Banners are a good place to begin. People may underestimate the importance of event banners; however, they will come in your favor during the process of planning your event, we promise! You can knock out so many questions just by using a simple vinyl banner, like the one pictured above. Putting a banner up a few weeks before an event can answer questions like "Where or when is the event?" or "What type of event is it?" without even having to interact with the attendees. Talk about taking off some weight off your shoulders!

Important Things to Include in a Banner:

    1. Name of the Event

First and foremost, if you're going to include one thing on a banner it should be the name of the event. The name of the event is important in so many obvious ways. It will not only help the viewers to search the event online if they are interested, but it will also allow them to get a feel of what the event is all about. Like the banner pictured above, "Fiesta" says it all! Any viewer will know it's going to be a fun time.

    2. Date and Time of the Event

Ok, this one's a given. People need to check their availability before they even commit. Adding the dates and times of the event will definitely make it easier on people and we all know when something is simple and easy, it lures us more. This banner could have included a more specific date to avoid any confusion, but it still works!

    3. Location

Leaving a small space for the location of your event is helpful as well. It helps people get an idea of where the event is and if they are close enough to attend.

    4. Intriguing Graphic

An intriguing graphic always catches the eye.  Bright colors, cool graphics, and some fancy fonts will top it off. The OLPH Annual Fiesta banner has all of the above. Remember, banners are to grab the attention of people, so they could attend the specific event. If your banner is lacking some color, it won't be noticed, which loses its purpose.

    event planning banners

It's important to include the small details on informative banners to not only take some weight off your shoulders as an event planner, but also to avoid confused people. We love helping these events come together to make your event planning process easier. The pictured banner is an example of a basic event vinyl banner for OLPH Annual Fiesta with grommets.

  • SCNCA SOCUP Outdoor Banners

    scnca banner1

We love doing large sports banners for events because we get to see how the events gets put together. We recently put together a few banners for Southern California Nevada Cycling Association.scnca banner

Beginning in 2003, USA Cycling wanted to bring people together and create new associations by establishing Local Associations. LA's worked together with USAC to take over the roles of the former District Representative and current Regional Coordinators. scnca banner2

USAC believes the Local Associations is beyond qualified and knows the best knowledge of the area to make decisions to help grow the sports community. This program helps Local Associations to wisely choose where to reinvest their financial allocation from USAC in the best interest of their members.

scnca banner3Building local associations is awesome for the sports community because USAC will provide funding through licensed USAC riders. Being part of the largest regions results to a larger budget, which is beneficial to SCNNCA. Large sports events like the SOCAL CUP is an excellent way to be using banners!

  • Numana, Inc. Serves the Hungry!

Recently, we got the opportunity to work with Numana, Inc., a fairly new non profit organization that started in 2008. Numana is located in El Dorado, Kansas and stands as a public charity that raises awareness and educates people on international hunger relief. Through holding food packaging events, Numana brings together a community of volunteers to help bring awareness to hunger issues.

    numana banner

According to the statistics given on Numana's webpage, "Nearly 870 million people in the world are suffering from extreme hunger. And of those people, 98 percent are living in developing countries." That's an extremely large percentage of people that aren't getting the right consumption of good nutrients for their bodies. Also, 1 out of 6 children in those developing countries are malnutrition, which will lead to deaths if they are not taken care of.

    numana banner1

Numana works hard to fight these hunger issues by creating food packing events around the world to create simple meals for these people. Some of the meals they package are rice, soy, beans, and a blend of vitamins. Companies like these make a difference in the world. We are extremely blessed to be working together to help such a great cause. We created a few trade show banners that displayed their mission statement and how they are a non profit organization that serves the hungry. We incorporated real images and important information, so they are easy to read and understand by others.

  • 626 Night Market Success

This past weekend, the city of Arcadia held a night market filled with delicious food, desserts, and merchandise. As doors opened and the streets filled with people trying all the different types of foods the vendors offered. This night market gave off the vibes of a local busy, Chinese street market.

626nightmarket_beachlive_banner4saleFor events like these, signs, banners, and images play a big part in bringing customers in. Every vendor had a banner hung over their easy-up, with the name of their booth. Along side with the banner, many people had posters with images of their food and prices.

626nightmarket_beachlive_banner4sale2We made a banner for one of the food vendors there. Beach Live, a seafood restaurant, came to us in need of a 10x15 ft banner with grommets. This outdoor banner needed to be hung onto a PVC frame that stood right above the tent.

626nightmarket_beachlive_banner4sale3Beach Live sold live sea urchins that had uni on the inside, topped with rice, masago, furikake, and chilli sauce. They also sold poke bowls that had raw fish mixed with a special poke sauce and rice.626nightmarket_beachlive_banner4sale4

I would say the outdoor vinyl banner was super beneficial to the restaurant's outcome in sales. Beach Live sold out all three days of this weekend! They sold out of their full sea urchin inventory on the second day, selling over 300 pounds of sea urchins. Many people came over to the booth, looking for uni because they had read the banner. Not just any cheap banner could have done that!  Good job Beach Live! 626nightmarket_beachlive_banner4sale5
